The Department only considers applications for the fall quarter.
Applications are evaluated only when all of the materials listed below are received.

By December 15

  Option 1:
Submit application form and
fee online: $60 domestic/$80.00 international.
    Note that the online system deletes an application if application fee is not received within 30 days after submission.
     
  Option 2:
Submit application form online
and mail fee separately
    Please follow instructions on application. Print out form and staple check or money order to it; list name, application ID number, birth date and email address [as used on application] on your check and mail to:

  • Student Questionnaire (PDF)
  • General and Advanced Physics GRE Exam scores
    (both are required and should be taken no later than December)
  • TOEFL or IELTS Exam scores for international students
    (see online application information for exceptions)
  • Two sets of official transcripts
  • Supplementary Information
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
  • Confidential Financial Statement (International Students only)

  • Note:
    Please try to use as few envelopes as possible! Only letters of recommendation & transcripts must be in a sealed envelope with registrar's stamp or recommender's signature across seal. Other materials do not need separate/individual envelopes. Thank You!
